The campaign has begun with the party's arrival at the village The Hollows, a town built on the ruins of an old temple and graveyard out of necessity to survive the reign of the Blood Mist. The Fellowship has been busy at work trying to get to know the people and gather information about old legends and rumors that can lead them toward treasure and adventure.
So far they befriended the druidic healer and even paid respect to her rituals during the town's festival of Springrise. They were haunted by some creepy ghosts finding out that when properly warded ghosts are relatively harmless. Started making friends with the locals and Galivan even started learning to cook from the local baker in hopes that their trail rations would taste a little less trail rations on their next journey.
After a few days, the town elder elder hired them to burn some boats at the river dock in town. The Fellowship were warry and decided to scope out the owner of their potential target; which turned out to be a local beer brewer who quick developed a crush on Kena (the only other dwarf that'd been seen in the area for several years). The Fellowship had decided to side with the beer brewer who hoped to use the boats and expand his business. They delayed telling the town elder until she took matters into her own hands and hired the town's gamekeeper to do the job.
The elder tried to confront the Fellowship, but the local deacon of the Church of Rust discovered the local druidic healer who had been aiding the Fellowship, was a member of the order of the Raven Sisters. He immediately tried to escalate to violence, but the Fellowship managed to calm the situation and get the head of the town militia on their side.
They were too late to save the boat, but the head of the town militia self promoted himself to town constable and placed the elder under arrest. The gamekeeper managed to escape town after narrowly being beaten to death by the angry mob of workers at the brewery. The people lost track of the gamekeeper and on his way out of town managed to destroy many of the town's protections against the ghosts that haunt the land.
Now they are heading to the ruins of the temple to find out if they can banish the source of the unrest and allow the restless dead a chance to escape their curse of unlife.
